When I stop seeing you as a customer; when you stop seeing me as an employee:
I hate when customers walk in, and no matter what I say they just respond with incoherent answers cause they're not really listening.
So this is how a conversation will go:
me "Hello! What can I help you find today?" [:
customer, with out looking at me or listenining responds "Nothing" l :
me, now annoyed, respond still smiling "Oh, nothing? That's great! Cause you see we have tons to look at" : D
customer catches onto my wording and gives me an annoyed look.
Really? Why do you get annoyed? Because I listened to what you said, and make scraps out of the lack of bone you threw me? I love it when I ask how're they finding stuff, and clearly looking for something, say thank you. I'll walk into the next aisle to hear them talking to another person in their party for the some thing in a different size.
Do I seem like some forked, silver tongue oil salesman who'll make a bargain for your very standards and ethics? I'm just trying to help.
The best people are those who acknowledge that I'm a person, and they're actual people. It's great, because words are exchanged and the everyone's day gets a little better.
Being dehumanized just because I'm an employee in retail really knocks you down through out the day, so I really appreciate when being acknowledged [:

More and More Networkings
So this is just another blog in the many that I'm collecting. Haha, this may become my addiction. Multiblogs! I don't mind though, and I like it cause then I have more chances of connecting and sharing with people. This first entry is a tab boring, but isn't the first one always?
